Nope.

Is this one of the corner bolt holes with 5/16"-18 threads? If so, your next step up in size is 3/8". But either way, you may not have room to drill and tap.

Metric probably won't work here because 8mm is only .050" larger than 5/16", and 10mm is larger than even 3/8".
