The door remotes (relays, if you prefer) in early production had the connecting bar horizontal, like yours. For some reason Chevy changed them to the style that angles downward toward the rear where they attach to the door latch.

All repros I've ever seen are that later, angled style like your silver ones. You would simply install those in the pre-existing screw holes (pointed end up) and attach the bar at an angle down to the latch. That's why they're slightly longer, to accommodate the angle.
