Man the point in a project when you just say wtf... we'll there and the mood passed...
Got the tunnel trimmed to fit
Used a silver sharpie in my case and outlined the panel with it.
(No need for a picture)
Placed 1" masking tape on the inside of the sharpie line
Lay the panel on top, if I seen tape, I adjusted it so when I cut the inside tape line in would have about an inch from the new panel.
Cut and sit back and realize what you just did..
Hump ready to be installed which ever method you like, rivet or weld
Now, I like the pan clearance....
So being the floor panel and all, laying the panel on top and installing it probably won't show though the floor insulation and carpet, but I think trying to butt weld the panel flush will be too much effort and lots of fristration
Now I just need to prep the two for final assembly but for now, it can be riveted together
