Congrats on the little guy on the way! My projects stalled out a little bit when my kids came along because I tried not to take any time away from family just to work on projects. My truck will always be sitting in the garage waiting for me, but my kids won't be young forever. I try to work on stuff for an hour or two after everyone is asleep 2-3 times a week and that satisfies me enough. My kids are 2 and 4 now and they do love playing in the truck and even helping out occasionally, so sometimes I sneak in extra time on the truck if they are interested. It's all worth it in the end though. That's my story, good luck!
