If it's a roller cam compatible block, get the factory roller stuff from a Vortec block and use it. Maybe the heads too if your CR will work out.
Pull a valve cover and You can see in thru the head casting gaps and pushrod holes to the valley. The lifter boss tops will be machined and there will be 3? cast areas above the cam bore that can be tapped to hold the lifter retainer.
