Well driving Crustine 24/7 has been awesome. Gas mileage kinda sucks, but nothing beats having a good reliable old truck as your daily.
Anyhow....the extra pressure of the new clutch pressure plate springs finally took their toll on the bell crank. Went to stop in the middle of town and had no clutch. Doesn't look as bent out in the picture but it was plenty enough to not be able to get into or out of gear! lol
So, got up early saturday and hammered it back in place and welded it all back up. The welds from the factory were pretty poor anyhow so I turned the heat up and really laid some welds on. Works like a charm and has never shifted smoother since I've owned her.
Good ol simplicity! Only took about 1.5 hours.
