If you haven't installed the vintage air unit, I highly recommend you STOP working on the passenger side of the firewall. If you don't want two bolts poking through, you'll need to do some welding and you'll ruin your bodywork. If you're good with the bolts, then by all means, proceed. The kit is set up for 4 connections for the heat and a/c stuff, all arranged vertically, but those can be modified and moved, but the mounting brackets are kind of stuck where they end up. I just did that mod to my firewall, so I know about what you'll be going through. I just want to save you from having to redo something if you really want to get rid of the two mounting bolts on the engine side of the firewall.
