Re: Dutch '59 Fleetside Longbed

We're on it again!!
This time it's sorting out the airride.
Front axle shouldn't be a problem, drill the springcone out, make a new lower bagmount and your ready to go...so they say
We'll see if that's true.

I started today with dismanteling the Jag suspension, took the springs out and made a few templates for the rear bags.
They have to go on the outside of the frame, so I've got to re-route the entire exhaust, bummer.....
Question:
If I dump the exhaust gasses in front of the rear axle, would it be much louder then?
I now have a double system with H-pipe and mufflers at the very back, it is a nice rumbling sound, not hard, but a deep tone.

Pic#1- I managed it to get it up high with no trouble
Pic#2- The Jag IRS with full suspension on...
Pic#3- The Jag IRS suspension without the coilovers, not much room for bags though..
Pic#4- How I undo the front LCA of the springplate, I find this easier then a bolt through the middle of the spring as Jag says.(pics is on it's side )
