67-68: Body is sleek. Later years more stout. It's close, but it's hard to deny the 67-68 body. I like the 67-68 front end best, so long as it's blue (ha!). I also like the 67-68 side molding best. It's simple and shows off the body.
1969-70: had a lot of paint/trim options. One I wish was a 71 option. Personal preference is I can do without the hood badge.
1971: Personal preference is the 71 grille was an upgrade. Looks great with that body. Disc brakes, and still had the great interior.
1972 is most nearly a 71, but my personal preference the interior was a downgrade.
If I had to choose, then 67 or 71, but any will work, because they're all great.
