It wont be too bad, it will come out the bottom without too much trouble.
I got a few more pictures today. I would say the medium belt alignment should (key word, should) fit, short there is probably no way. This is all based on 1 1/4" forward engine adapter plates and clam shell engine mounts. From what I have read the medium alignment is 3/4" back from the long alignment. I had about 1 1/8" to my motor mount, and about 7/8" to my motor mount bolt.
