After studying the pictures of the Blazer in the ad and your truck, I noticed something that is attributing to the poor vertical fitment. The arrows on the body lines in the attached picture are lined up in the "model" Blazer, but way off on yours. It looks like you may have some sag/misalignment in your doors. If those points line up, looks like you wouldn't be trimming so much off the bottom.

This however does nothing to account for the wrong length of the pieces.

Checked my doors, and they are like the model Blazer. Your doors are definitely misaligned.
