Your comment contradicts itself...The GM truck 12-bolt posi in my opinion is second only to the legendary car 12-bolt. The only difference between the two are car 12's had larger diameter pinions, 1.438" vs 1.625" and thinner tube wall thicknesses...In any case if you start twisting pinion shafts, the Dana 60 is the only other option IMO. I would never stick a Ford 9" under my trucks, but that's just me...As the above post reflects, only the 9 required working on?
