The only difference in your system would be where the amplification (boost) is coming from. A hydraboost will not affect the hydraulic part of the braking system. (Beyond the fact that hydraboost is a hydraulic system). It might be cheaper to go to a vacuum pump system. Check into that?

An alternative is to use a manual disc brake master cylinder. It will have higher pedal effort, but not that much above a manual brake cylinder for all-wheel drum brakes, and it won't depend on engine vacuum.
