I thought MOT exemption was automatic for any vehicle more than 40 years old?
As it is 2017, that means any vehicle first registered in 1977 or earlier would be exempt.
Here is North Carolina, anything over 35 years old doesnt need an inspection and anything older than 25 years doesnt need emissions testing...you just pay the registration fee of approx $ 30 USD...
You should be exempt with the build date on this one approx mid April 1960...
