Before anything else look at the pictures of P.S. hoses on Rockauto.com to see of mayhap they sent you the wrong one ~ it happens, I have the decades of stories to back that up .

I have worked on an old truck once or twice .

I forget where I bought the new P.S. hose for my '69 C.10, maybe NAPA ? they too will have a picture but usually only _one_ to choose from .

Filters are always a good idea on older rigs ~ I retain them as I flush any system until the ATF remains translucent and sweet smelling, then I discard them .
