Some years the west has great winters and some years the east does. I think 2010 snow totals were killer in WV and awful out west.
2012, 2013 were great here also but last couple of years not so much. I hope this winter is great for skiing, I'd be happy with at least one named storm per month and temps down enough so the ski resorts can pile it up at night.
I think I'll go ahead and buy new tire chain tensioners for my car... she is "my 4x4" in winter.
