I wanted to put the battery in the bed but I had temporarily placed it in the cab just to get the truck on the road. I think I'll keep it behind the seat with the addition of a battery box.

haha, sometimes I wonder the same thing. I've been plugging holes in the firewall but keep finding other places CO2 would creep in anyway. None of the door seals work. The cab seals are all dried up. Sure it looks like things are air tight.
