I wish I had come to that realization before I sanded all the original paint off the rest of the truck. the amount of prep for 3 minutes of spraying was staggering. I cant even fathom the amount of work you are doing.

joe, thank you for the high praise. You are correct it takes a ton of time for prep, so the surface is good for paint. Then it takes a ton of time to wet sand with increasing higher paper (2000 -3000-5000) to get it flat to polish.
I've always said you don't need to be a great painter, that only takes a few hours total, but the before and after makes the difference. I hope NO ONE takes this the wrong way, I just do the best I can. Mark now does all the painting, and he's good, I'm just the prep, and final sander
