Only thing I would suggest on using junkyard stuff is to get the master with the booster.

And, forget about the special socket for getting that stupid claw tooth nut off the mounting plate. Just bust it off and use a spanner nut. You can torque it down with a gland nut wrench.

Also, you want the proper accumulator for Disc/Drum or Disc/Disc.

But like said, you can do it for dirt cheap. And lots of support here.

Did you have a lot of trouble getting the nut off? Mine came off pretty easy with a vice and an 18 or 24” crescent. I reused the factory nut with my captain fab brackets with no issues.
