Re: Fix and Sale 72 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 K2500

Got the steering column bearings and turn signal springs installed so that I could get the steering wheel back on. I followed the suggestion a few people here on the forum told me about for cleaning up all the gunk. I used denatured alcohol and an acid brush to clean up all the grease/dirt mixture and used steel wool on a few other items that had a little surface rust. After it was all back together that seemed to help some of the slop I was feeling in the steering wheel.

Got the front fender sanded down one more time with the filler primer and a coat of glaze. Hoping to get a chance to shoot some color in the morning if all looks good. I am so glad that I have a heated garage which makes it possible to control the temperatures and make it possible to paint and do projects on the trucks through the winter.
