Why not a 6L80? it will be much better than the 4L85E that I had. Also I'm not sold on the 8L yet, most I have driven make a lot of noise clunking around. A T56 magnum would have been nice but the cost really adds up to do that. I will keep it column shift with the OE shifter rod assembly
