Seems everyone and their sister takes a sbc 350 and make it a 383. A 454 big block can be made a 496 by purchasing a scat rotating assembly either forged or cast depending how you plan on using it. Either bore block 030 for a 489 or go 060 for the 496 with the crankshaft having a longer stroke. You can use scat/eagle or others. I just mentioned scat because I have had success with forged rotating assemblies produced by scat
