Apparently what I was calling "ribs" are called Strainers. The material used is called Paper.

I'm not sure from the manual, but it appears the Paper was installed prior to welding the Strainers in place.

My confusion now is what is being used between the Strainer and the back panel today? I presume it has to be inserted prior to welding in the new Strainer.

Is this right?
