Re: '64 chevy 2wd to 4wd

ya, but it's melting fast....till tomorrow, supposed to get another couple inches ...then sun for a few days
last sat we rolled my crew back into the shop and took out the winda's and popped off the door handles...little more sanding and it's good to go....
finished my cucv guard. i left as much as the military paint on as i could- good stuff whatever it is, then red oxide'd it and painted it with some satin epoxy paint...but it's not very satin-e i think.....hopefully it'll keep the rust at bay for awhile

buddy's K20 we were looking at is kinda a no-go. his friend served in Afghanistan, 5/4 ("trailer park boyz"), that's what the 5/4 on the front fender of his K20 stands for, as well as a CF badge and flag. his intention is to give it to his buddy- for free. so i threw him the cucv bumper and d-shackles that i just picked up. he really wanted the guard, but no way
so his other friend has this 1/2 ton for sale.
one yr newer than mine, '86, 350/700r4, tilt, a/c, new dashpad, newer paint, everything works. going to look at it this sat, son likes it

and ya, it's not a chebby, but i got bored and am putting this TBD Devastator together. wife bought me 6 small planes the other yr....finally doing something with them...
the finish is from Torpedo 5 (VT-5) from the USS Yorktown (CV-5) just before WW2
once it's all together and painted i'll hit it with some dull-cote to tame down the brightness of the paint
