Kim surprised me at work yesterday. She called to say I have a new project coming. It seems she bought a mid-1970’s Chevy truck, clean, straight body and a bad motor for $500. I haven’t seen the truck yet, but she wants me to build it for her daily driver...after I finish Ethyl.

Of course, now comes the conundrum, her last C-10 had a big block I built for her. I have the original 350 from that truck, fully rebuilt and ready to run, but it isn’t a 454. Even though this is the original engine from her first truck, I’m betting she is going to miss that big block power. Save her small block for something else and swap in an LS, or just install her small block and wait until she says something? Lol!
