That patch is available but it's way thicker than the original part...

I didn't think it was reproduced at all. I worked on mine some more today with the piece I built to make the depressed area in the upper corner to fit the contour of the rest of the support. It didn't work as well as I thought it might, but I was able to still get it formed - just not as easy as I had hoped.

I'll post some more photos as soon as I take them. Now to get the rest of the old piece off of the support. There are several spot welds to drill out yet before I can do final fitting. Also have to weld in threaded inserts for the inner fenders to attach to. A lot of work for such a little part!
