I used to just take off the inner wheel/tire on my old 2-ton in the winter.
It lined up pretty good with the fronts but I don't know how that would work on a dooley pickup.
Just be sure to double check your lug nuts when you only have one wheel thickness on the studs. I had one side loosen up on me one fall.
