Chevrolet had their own VIN sequence and there were about 9 times as many Chevrolet's built as GMC.

So that would take this truck and push it later in the total build sequence.

Since each final assembly location (five or six of them, with Flint or Pontiac typically being the "lead" plant) also counted up independent of each other, you could probably reasonably say "this is around the 100th GMC produced at the Fremont plant" or some such thing.
