Boards are done . 12 hours to dry and then I can start the assembly. I used a method a friend who does high end cabinetry and furniture taught me. Basically its wet sanding with oil and 400 paper the sanding creates a slurry of oil and saw dust I usually do this by hand with regular garnet paper but 8 8ft boards would have taken forever. You keep adding oil until the wood no longer takes it in. Use much more oil but goes deaper into the wood and the slurry acts like a grain filler too.

Just need to take the side boards out from the bed a do them
