Here's one I recently made for my '49
I closed out the hole on the bracket where the wire went through and welded on a -6 AN fitting. I took the rubber wire seal out of the tail light and make a 3/16" rubber gasket that goes between the bracket and the light to make sure it sealed out water
Here's some detail of the bracket. The nut and the tube are stainless and I'll polish those up some. The nuts on the tail light will get replaced with some polished stainless acorn nuts to clean it up a bit
The stainless tube takes some doing to bend it. I have a cast metal tube bender, but I borrowed this Parker bender to get a little more leverage
