The one in the truck when I got it was broken so I bought the standard plastic Dorman replacement part from the local parts store. Went on fine and seemed to fit the bill, but I was out driving the truck last Sunday and noticed in the rearview mirror that the window was slightly open. Somehow the POS Dorman piece had broken...I never touched it after I installed it and it broke. So, I went in search of a metal replacement. Didn’t take long and I found one. So here are some pics and it does seem to be a much better option.

Where did you purchase the metal kit? I need one.
