This isn't an uncommon thing, the color of the truck makes me think it's the usual carelessness during routine field service when the equipment runs over the field service rig .

OTOH, I was given the "honycomb" tailights off a 1961 VW Beetle that was deliberately crushed to a pancake by a Caterpillar D9 on a Sunday, they removed the taillights with an oxy - actelyne torch, knowing I'd want them .

They're still in my garage as oddities .
