one last stop for the puppy's was almost fatal for Rumble.
this innocent looking part of the river drops right off to about 6 ft deep with a wicked current and whirlpools. Rumble was after them birds he just put into flight and ran right into the river, and got sucked into a whirlpool. he is a super strong swimmer and was giving everything he had, but the whirlpool spun him around 3 times before i got to him. i grabbed him by the scruff and hauled him in. we both just sat there looking at each other,
like wow, that was close. on the downside when i grabbed him, my cam fell out of my pocket....plunk, right into the river. i fished it out and after drying for a few days, it seems to work again.
