Re: Cheapskate 1970 C10 LS1/4l60e swap

Fast forward to september of 2016. Unfortunately we got word that my “middle” brother (i am the youngest of three and i have one older brother) who was living in Virginia had passed away from a heart attack. He had been working on a 71
Le Mans Sport convertible that he was going to make a gto judge clone. I brought it back from Virginia, (along with a truckload of other stuff). I originally thought i would finish it, but it is just too much of a project for me, so I decided to pull the drivetrain he was going to use, a 1998 Trans An LS1/4l60e. (The le mans is for sale. Pm me if interested). I used a pair of 73+ C10 frame stands and motor mounts i had on hand along with a pair of $55 adapters from ebay to set the engine in the swb chassis. (The first photo is of the ls1 sitting in the lemans)
