Fortunately I have equipment at my disposal now, but I used to use 4 saw horses and 2 4x6's. I would set the saw horses on each side and lift one end of the vehicle with an engine hoist and slide the 4x6 under the rockers. Then move to the other end and repeat. I put a 2x4 on top of the 4x6, along under the rocker to distribute the weight.
The drawback to this method is you have to have plenty of room on each side of the vehicle.
This is how we do it now.
