Still fighting with the front end chrome but getting there slowly but surely.
I replaced the rad support mounts with the proper '68 ones which dropped the support by about 1/2" and helped a bit but not enough. Incremental improvements I guess. At least the majority of it lines up to almost acceptable between hood, grille, bumper with respect to each other, etc.
Main issue now is the orientation of the light buckets to grille and bezel. The right side isn't terrible but the left side is. Looking like I am going to end up having to cut the spot welds for the double bucket mount on the left side and re-weld it into the correct position. I can tell you that I'm getting real good at taking that grille on and off! Will be a few more times yet before I get the light bucket mount moved into the correct position.
