Looking at it, I'm not so sure I can do that without ruining the line. It looks like the stop is a crimped fold in the line. I think if I grind through it, it may open up a hole in the line. I'm not positive, but that's the way it looks. I think I may just cut the barb off and chance it first. If that doesn't work I can try grinding the stop. Then if that doesn't work, I'll cut it at the elbow bend and use a 90-deg fitting. It looks like there's more room on that part of the line.
