But then if you look on the pump there is a larger nut surrounding the female fitting that unscrews the whole fitting out of the pump completely. This is how I installed that extended AN fitting. So the entire internal pressure fitting is replaced with the Earls fitting? That makes sense now. Sorry for long winded comment, but this now helps me tremendously. Thank you for taking the time to explain it.
