derotoreut first let me say how good your truck looks!
I rotated my compressor back up right and took a look at hose alignment and opted to rotate it back on its side. VA told me that it would be fine at this angle and the hose kit was made for it to be tilted. I mocked up the hoses and of course need a couple different fittings, but overall I think I am going to like this.
I also planned to run behind the fender into the vent, but realized that in order to make the bulkhead plate work there I was going to have to cut open the cab again. I didn't want to do that. I also feel that having the bulkhead on the firewall balances the brake booster out some.

1971 C10 Stepside. LSx 6.0 with BTR Stage IV, Speed Engineering Headers, 4L80e transmission w/3200 Circle-D Stall. 3.73. Posi. Purchased this truck when I was 17. I started the rebuild (or take apart) in 1993. I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021.
