Thank you! Yeah, being a Chrysler product, most of the Jeeps and 2nd/3rd Generation Dodges used this design. It wasn’t a bad design, but in harsh weather, it could be slow to react, or just not work at all. I found this out my first winter in Oklahoma with our 1995 Dodge diesel.
According to the folks at Posi-Lok, some Fords used a similar vacuum system.
