No flaming here. Those old Toyota's were workhorses and they got great mileage. I've rolled in a few over the years. They were cheap and indestructible.

Now they're big and expensive. My friend bought a Tundra. It has a V8 with Flowmasters. It's big and it rumbles. It's nice. But it just doesn't look or sound like a Toyota to me. I kind of miss the old small ones.

We bought a Subaru. They are still small and get good mileage. Tougher than stale beef jerky. It will hold all our dogs and has AWD. It's our 2nd one (First one got wrecked) It has an automatic because my wife drives it and god forbid she can't drink her Starbucks because she has to shift.
