Car already broke. The ignition switch conked out. These cars are notorious for that. It's not a hard or expensive fix. Just a pain to get under the dash to get to it.

Easy fix. I'm just glad it happened at home. Now I just have to squeeze myself in there and hope the neighbors don't hear me swearing.
