so all these wires will get shortened and new pins crimped on,

FYI the PCM uses two different size pins the pin side is the same size but the part that grabs the wire is two different sizes depending on the gaugeness or thickness of the wire

Mouser part numbers: 829-15359001 $15 for 50 and 829-15359002 $20 for 50

I decided to mount the PCM to the firewall on the passenger side for the following reasons
  1. closest to the battery and the starter so shorter wire runs
  2. offset the weight of the driver (for racing purposes - yeah right!?)
  3. thought about running the PCM on the inside of the cab but the PCM belongs in the engine bay (became lazy and talked myself out of it)
