I recall 71-72 used the same wheel bearings as 73 & later; they just used different BJ's & TRE's thus the reason for different disc brake spindles.

A quick O'reilly's check showed 71-72 c10's use A3 outer/A5 inner bearings & a 74 c10 uses A3 outer/A5 inner (both considered the HD/1.25" rotor app; Lt duty/1" rotor apps use the A6 inner).
