Those old choke pots suck. I battled one religiously until I just gave in and got an edelbrock. Its been on there 10 years now.

Manual Chokes are nice.

So I have not given up on my old Quadrajet, yet I am under the influence they are more difficult to get set up. Once set up properly they are great!

Look up a guy by the name of Cliff Ruggles, he does some very good work.
