Re: Stumped by some trailer lights

Well, after a heck of a time, I finally figured it out. From the factory, my Dakota has 6 turn signal bulbs. 4 in the front turn signals and 2 in the brake lights. The "HD" flasher I bought that was supposed to work didn't work, so for grins and giggles, I decided to stick the hazard flasher in the turn signal spot. Guess what, the turn signals work great now with the trailer hooked up.

Once I got that figured out, I looked up the part number for that factory hazard flasher and the description says it's also for the towing package equipped trucks. I just need to grab another factory flasher and I'll be good to go!
