Last update for the weekend. Before i blow the pickup apart again for the urethane primer and final sanding, i only have a few items left i need to do. One of those items was locating my mirrors. Had my bro over to hold them in place until i liked the location. I used threaded rivnuts to hold the mount in place.
I know these mirrors aren’t for everyone, but they seem to function well and i think they’ll look pretty good when the rest of the pickup is painted. The mirrors came from Ring Brothers, same manufacturer as my hood hinges.

I had been looking into the Altman Easy Latch Kit for our doors, and after seeing his posts about them, i pulled the trigger. Looking forward to getting those installed in the near future.
