I had one plugged into my CB/PA.
Came in handy when some fiesty heiffers got in my way on a narrow mountain road. They didn't care about my stock horn, but whistles and ''cowboy'' impressions got them moving. [Old US 666, now US 195 -- they changed the route number because it was cheaper than repeatedly replacing the signs stolen by Heavy Metal fans.]
Mine was plastic and broke, eventually.
You could also switch it so you could ''copy the mail'' thru the speaker, if hanging out in front of the truck.
