I've been using the one my wife was kind enough to leave me for years. I recently took a load to Goodwill and went in to browse around. I found and bought a smaller round crock pot that looked brand new for $10. Not sure what they cost new, but I've been using that one now for smaller batch foods. Just did collard greens yesterday... tender and flavorful (seasoned). The nice thing about shoop (or big batch of anything) is you can freeze the leftovers to thaw out another day for a microwave ready meal in 10 minutes.

Now I am ready to make a pot of shoop!
Wife put a crockpot on mid morning. Her version of shoop I guess. House smells great. Gonna sit down and eat as much as I can lol. She bought some hard rolls too. Lots of butter and I dip it in the soup.
