Its not just imported tires you need to look at . About 3 years ago I was gonna drive my Chevelle convertible from Ga to Northern Ohio and while doing an oil change I inspected all 4 tires . My tires (BFG) looked like new on the tread and sidewall but deep in the tread they were dry rotted .
